Jarrod Dickenson is getting into the festive spirit with new single Christmas Time in the City.
Following on from the release of his critically acclaimed album Ready the Horses in September, Dickenson has unleashed the video for the single and a cover of Charles Brown’s Please Come Home For Christmas, which serves as the B-side.

Both songs were recorded at SonyTree Studios in Nashville with a full live band. Christmas Time in the City is an original track and was inspired by the iconic image of New York City during winter time.
Says Dickenson, āItās an incredible place year around, but during the Christmas season it is nothing short of magical. The entire city is dressed up in lights and wreaths. Buskers in the subway and on the street corners are singing holiday classics. There’s an excitement in the air that’s shared by locals and tourists alike. You can’t help but smile as you walk down the streets. It’s without question my favourite time of year.ā
The new single comes following Dickenson’s headline UK tour in October, which saw him performing songs from Ready the Horses along with other selections.
