DeVoe (Neil Sandilands) was the focus of the latest episode of The Flash as Barry (Grant Gustin) tried to prove that he was the team’s latest nemesis.

Joe (Jesse L. Martin) was sceptical about DeVoe after meeting with him and his wife Marlize (Kim Engelbrecht) but Barry was convinced they were behind the recent chaos. Barry’s tenacity turned into an obsession with everyone doubting him and his job being put in jeopardy when the DeVoes filed a complaint about him with the police.

That didn’t stop Barry from breaking into their house after he found a camera in the Samuroid head and he was caught by a camera, which Marlize turned in to the police. Barry was forced to take a leave of absence and warned to stay away from the DeVoes.

Refusing to leave it be, Barry confronted DeVoe, who revealed his true identity allowing Barry to prove that he was right to Team Flash.

Meanwhile it was revealed that DeVoe had his brain capacity increased by the particle accelerator explosion but the incident also accelerated his amyotrophic lateral sclerosis leaving him wheelchair bound. Marlize built him a special chair to keep him alive.

Elsewhere Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) returned to the team.

The next episode of the season is Crisis on Earth-X Part 3. The superheroes team up to take on their most formidable foes yet when Earth-X villains crash Barry’s wedding.
