Orbital reveal UK shows

Following a five year break, brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll are back this year to bring the acclaimed Orbital live show back to the forefront. The live shows have previously been branded by both The Guardian and Q Magazine as among the greatest gigs of all time. Having headlined a busy summer of major festivals across the world, which included, Bluedot, Standon Calling and Beyond the Tracks in the UK, WAM Festival in Spain, Forbidden Fruit in Eire, Sonicmania in Japan and Brussels Summer Festival amongst others, Orbital are looking forward to their very own two indoor UK shows at the end of this year.

The duo will play the Manchester O2 Apollo on Friday 1st December and Hammersmith Evenim Apollo, London on Sat 2nd December.

Orbital are currently recording their new album their own studio in Brighton. This will the duo’s first new album since the much-acclaimed Wonky, which was released back in 2012. As quoted from The Skinny then, “Their ability to absorb new influences within their own distinct universe is peerless.” This neatly sums up the uncanny knack Orbital have for staying close to their fans and connecting with a new listening audience. The album is expected to land in 2018.
Orbital found time in between shows to record a new track called Copenhagen, which they have been showcasing live this year. Copenhagen is currently available to stream on all major platforms.

You can see Orbital live on the following dates:

Friday 1st December – Manchester O2 Apollo
Saturday 2nd December – Hammersmith Eventim Apollo

The last tickets are still available for the shows.
