Kara (Melissa Benoist) uncovered a cult that worshipped Supergirl on the latest episode of Supergirl.
Thomas Coville (Chad Lowe), a man who witnessed Kara saving his plane the day she became Supergirl, started a cult of people that Supergirl had saved. Following the teachings of Kryptonian God, Rao, the cult created disasters so they could be saved by Supergirl.

Racing against time, Kara stopped Thomas from blowing up a stadium full of people by sinking the bomb into the ground. She was unaware that by doing so, she caused something underground to awaken.
Meanwhile Alex (Chyler Leigh) realised that she wanted children and couldn’t give them up for Maggie (Floriana Lima) causing her to break down to Kara.
Elsewhere Samantha (Odette Annable) was invited to a girls night with Lena (Katie McGrath), Kara, Alex and Maggie. At the end of the episode she was visited by a scary creature that told her she would ‘reign’ soon.
The next episode of the season is Damage. Lena’s in for a hard time when she’s blamed for making countless children ill. Kara steps in to clear her name. But it’s not as easy as she thought.
