Andy Brown teams up with The Shires’ Crissie Rhodes for debut solo single Landslide

Lawson frontman Andy Brown is striking out as a solo artist with the release of his debut solo single Landslide.

Now signed to Decca, the singer-songwriter has teamed up with The Shires’ Crissie Rhodes for debut single Landslide. Brown has been working on his debut album for the past 6 months in Nashville and he’s drawn from the city’s blues and Country influences.

Landslide is described as showcasing ‘Andy’s knack for writing evocative and heartfelt lyrics, and (it) draws the listener in with a huge sing along chorus.’

Brown says, “Signing with Decca Records for my first solo album really is a dream come true. I feel so lucky for all the success we had as Lawson, but with this new album I can truly be myself and I have the chance to make the music I am passionate about. I hope my fans will continue to follow me on this journey, and that they love the new music as much as I do!”

With his solo material Brown is showcasing a different side to his abilities. His debut album is due for release in early 2018.
