The X Factor 2017 reveals video of the finalists first song

The X Factor 2017 reaches the live shows this weekend as the competition heads towards its climax.

During the Saturday’s show the Wildcards will be revealed following a public vote last weekend. Dermot O’Leary will be on hand to guide viewers through all of the action and support the hopefuls.

On Saturday night’s live show, the final 16 contestants will sing their hearts out on stage. Judges Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell will take their seats behind the judges’ desk and watch their contestants battle it out, in the hope of impressing voters at home.

ITV have worked with Little Mix’s writers to re-work the Brit Award winning song Shout out to my Ex. The finalist’s version celebrates the X Factor and the tumultuous journey its contestants go on.

The video was shot and recorded in a small studio in Ladbroke Grove and features the 12 finalists from the Judges’ House stage.

This year, Louis is mentoring the Boys, Nicole the Overs, Simon the Groups and Sharon is in charge of the Girls.

The live shows will also see guest stars perform including this week’s appearance of former One Direction singer, Liam Payne who will be performing his new single, Bedroom Floor.
