The name of the Han Solo Star Wars prequel film has been revealed as Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The title was revealed by director Ron Howard yesterday on Twitter. He posted a short video to celebrate the end of filming on the movie and he revealed the title by holding up a placard.

As well as revealing the title, Howard thanked his cast and crew for working hard on the shoot and thanked the passionate fans of the long-running franchise.
Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo and also features Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo. The screenplay was written by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan.
Howard was brought in to direct the movie when original directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller left due to creative differences.
The film is the latest in a long line of new Star Wars films and will follow the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which arrives in December.
Following the success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015, Lucasfilm and Disney have been plotting lots of films for the franchise. In Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was released in 2016 and made more than $1 billion at the box office.
