Daryl’s (Norman Reedus) fate was revealed on the latest episode of The Walking Dead.
In the season 7 premiere, Daryl was kidnapped by The Saviors after attacking Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), which resulted in Glenn’s (Steven Yeun) brutal death. Locked in a cell at the sanctuary, Daryl was tortured with dog food sandwiches and the same song being played on repeat.
Negan’s aim was to break Daryl down like he did with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and he put Dwight (Austin Amelio) in charge. Dwight was also sent to retrieve a Savior who was attempting to escape and he ended up killing him.
Daryl was given two chances to become a Savior but he resisted resulting in more violence and abuse.
The next episode of the season is Service. Alexandria gets a sobering visit from Negan.
