Supergirl is back for a second season in the UK on Monday and Kara (Melissa Benoist) finally finds out what’s in the pod that landed at the end of season one.
Prior to that Kara flew Fort Rozz into space to render Myriad useless and defeated Non (Chris Vance). J’onn (David Harewood) battled Indigo (Laura Vandervoort) and beat her by ripping her apart.
Supergirl may have changed networks in the US (it’s now on The CW rather than CBS) but the show hasn’t undergone many changes. The first two episodes of the season see former Teen Wolf star Tyler Hoechlin playing the role of Clark Kent/Superman and Calista Flockhart’s Cat Grant has been changed to recurring rather than regular due to the production of the show moving from Los Angeles to Vancouver.
The first episode of the new season is The Adventures of Supergirl. Kara teams up with her cousin to stop a new threat in Central City.
