Carmageddon: Max Damage launches on PS4 and Xbox One

Nearly 20 years since the original Carmageddon launched, the cult racing sensation makes its debut on PS4 and Xbox One today with the release of Carmageddon: Max Damage. The game is developed by Stainless Games with Sold Out handling publishing.

Players again take the role of Max Damage, the homicidal driver of the Eagle R in the Carmageddon series, as they go head-to-head in a host of frantic race events.

Carmageddon: Max Damage is jam-packed with features including over 30 different vehicles, 10 large open environments, a career mode and online multiplayer. Players can look forward to much hilarity as they mow down pedestrians and do battle with fellow drivers.

The game features over 90 crazy PowerUps to collect including the return of our favourite, the Electro Bastard Ray. There are plenty of new ones too such as an anvil launcher, bubble car and one that rips the heads off pedestrians. Finally there’s a new action replay mode so you can relive the action and show off your carnage online.

EF hope to bring you a full review of the game later this month. Check out the official Carmageddon website for more information.
