James Wan discusses redefining horror in The Conjuring 2

Horror mastermind James Wan has redefined the genre after his recent batch of movies. He discusses this in a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette just released for The Conjuring 2, which stars Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson and haunts cinemas from 13th June.

The Conjuring 2 finds Lorraine and Ed Warren investigating one of their most terrifying paranormal cases ever. They travel to North London to try and help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.

The film co-stars Frances O’Connor, Madison Wolfe, Lauren Esposito, Patrick McAuley and Benjamin Haigh.

The movie follows the amazing worldwide reception of James Wan’s The Conjuring, which marked the largest ever opening for an original horror movie. The film went on to make more than $319 million worldwide and still remains the second highest grossing original horror movie of all time – second only to The Exorcist.
