Blue star Duncan James is joining the cast of Hollyoaks it has been announced.
The singer, who has acted on the West End Stage and has recently been in the touring production of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, will play new character Ryan who moves into the village with his family this summer.
A Hollyoaks spokesperson says: “Ryan is a good guy in a committed relationship who will move into the village. He is a grounded family man with principles and integrity but who will fight tooth and nail for what he believes in.”
Talking about his new role, Duncan said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Hollyoaks team! I’m looking forward to working with the fantastic on and off screen talent on the show and bringing the character of Ryan to life.”
Duncan’s arrival date hasn’t been confirmed yet but as soon as there’s any more news we’ll have it here for you!
