The singer-songwriter bought his first guitar at the age of 13 and has been writing and playing ever since. With a business degree under his built, Church headed to Nashville where he signed a deal with Capitol Nashville in 2005. His debut album Sinners Like Me arrived in July 2006 and it was certified Gold peaking at number 7 on the US Country Album Chart.
Since the release of Sinners Like Me, Church has gone from strength-to-strength with each subsequent release out-performing the last. In 2009 he released second album Carolina, which was followed by third album Chief in 2011, his biggest-selling album to date selling over 1.8 million copies in the US alone.
In 2014 Church released The Outsiders, which scored him his second number 1 album and became his second platinum album. In terms of singles success, Church has scored 6 number 1s including a collaboration with Keith Urban on Raise ‘Em Up and two singles from Chief – Drink in My Hand and Springsteen.
In 2015 Church surprised fans with the release of his new album Mr Misunderstood. The album shot into the US charts at number 2 and it has been selling strongly ever since.
Church is currently on a European tour and as part of that he will headline the third and final night of C2C. His performance already has a lot of buzz and with his ever-increasing popularity we’re expecting a fairly rowdy night!
