Eric Church marks 20 Years with special Red Rocks and Lake Tahoe shows this summer

Fresh off the closing weekend of his boundary-pushing Free the Machine Tour, Eric Church is already setting his sights on the next chapter — announcing a series of special summer shows that will celebrate two decades of his music.

Rather than extending the previous tour, these newly revealed dates take a different approach. Church will return to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in July for a three-night run, followed by a two-night stand at Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre at Caesars Republic. Each show is being positioned as a unique, one-off experience — shaped by spontaneity, setting, and the unpredictability that has become a hallmark of his live performances.

At Red Rocks, Church will be joined by a rotating lineup of special guests, including Corey Kent, 49 Winchester, and The Creekers across three consecutive nights from July 6–8. He’ll then head west to Lake Tahoe on July 15–16, where ERNEST will join as special guest for both performances.

The shows arrive on the heels of ‘Evangeline vs. The Machine,' the album that anchored the ‘Free the Machine' tour and further cemented Church’s reputation as one of country music’s most adventurous artists. That tour earned widespread acclaim for its willingness to push boundaries, with critics highlighting both its musical ambition and its refusal to follow a traditional format.

Now, with these summer dates, Church is leaning even further into that ethos. Rather than recreating a standard setlist, the performances are expected to pull from across his 20-year catalogue, offering fans something different each night — a reflection of both his longevity and his commitment to evolving as an artist.

Presales for the shows begin in mid-April, with general on-sale dates following shortly after. As with previous destination-style runs, demand is expected to be high, driven not just by the venues, but by the promise that no two nights will be the same.

For Eric Church, it’s not just a celebration of where he’s been — it’s another step forward in a career defined by doing things his own way.
