Adele is the first act confirmed to perform at The BRIT Awards with MasterCard 2016.
The superstar, who is smashing records all over the world with her new album 25, will perform at the ceremony on Wednesday 24th February 2016 at London’s O2 Arena. Ant & Dec will return as hosts and the nominations for the awards will be announced on 14th January 2016.
BRITs Chairman Max Lousada said, “You couldn’t get a bigger name in music right now. Adele is having an exceptional moment and The BRITs are delighted to be a part of her history, her present and future”
All of the live performances from the evening will be available to stream and download from Google Play just after the awards. All proceeds being donated to this year’s official charity partners, Nordoff Robbins and The BRIT Trust.
Since the release of Adele’s third album 25, Adele has broken the week one albums sales records and nabbed herself the fastest-selling album. To date she has a won a total of three BRIT Awards and she performed her signature track Someone Like You at the 2011 BRIT Awards ceremony.
