Charlaine Harris, the author of the Sookie Stackhouse books that hit TV show True Blood was based on, releases her new book Day Shift tomorrow.

Welcome to Midnight, Texas. With empty shops, boarded up windows and just a single traffic light, it’s a sleepy town that’s easy to miss, and the residents love it that way. The idyllic, unnerving lull comes crashing to an end when the town’s abandoned old hotel is bought by a new owner with grand plans to reinvigorate the entire town.
