Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) received an unwelcome blast from the past in the shape of his former protege Hartley Rathaway (Andy Mientus) in the latest episode of The Flash.
Rathaway aka the Pied Piper was once Dr. Wells’ right hand man and warned his former boss that the particle accelerator could explode. Wells chose to ignore him opting to reap the potential rewards instead. After they captured Rathaway, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) realised that he had been captured on purpose to steal information from S.T.A.R. Labs in a bid to kill Barry (Grant Gustin).
Team Flash managed to contain Rathaway but the devilish villain revealed to Cisco that he knows where Ronnie (Robbie Amell) is and how to save him. Elsewhere Joe (Jesse L. Martin) asked Eddie (Rick Cosnett) to start investigating Dr. Wells.
The next episode of the season is Crazy for You. Romance bubbles between Barry and a sports reporter, before a run-in with a metahuman who has teleportation powers.
