Every parent’s worst nightmare came true for April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) in the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
The married couple found out that their unborn baby had osteogenesis imperfecta, a life threatening disease that could mean the baby may die shortly after being born. April reacted to the news with anger taking it out on Jackson and then Steph (Jerrika Hinton) after discovering that the resident didn’t tell her the news when she first found out.
Elsewhere in the episode the doctors were kept busy by multiple car accidents caused by a woman with insulinoma, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) decided to try and make things work whilst they were separated by distance, and Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) found out that Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) had told Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) about her tumour.
The next episode of the season is The Bed’s Too Big Without You. April tries to look on the bright side when Arizona runs tests on her baby, Owen and Callie contemplate the dating scene and Meredith takes a fresh approach to a complicated surgery.
