Annalise (Viola Davis) and her team put right a wrong done to a former client who was put on death row by Asher’s (Matt McGory) father.
The tough-talking lawyer managed to set the man free after he spent 20 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Of course she had to resort to dirty tactics to get the job done but still it paid off for her client.
Elsewhere Frank (Charlie Weber) planted Lila’s (Megan West) phone in Griffin’s (Lenny Platt) car resulting in the teen getting arrested. In the flashforward Asher realised the trophy was missing and went to confront his classmates. On the way he got a call from Bonnie (Liza Weil) and the two unexpectedly hooked up.
The next episode of the season is He Deserved to Die. The team’s investigations into Rebecca’s (Katie Findlay) case are halted when the judge enforces a gag order. Rebecca decides to take matters into her own hands.
