Gender equality was on the minds of most of the characters on the latest episode of Modern Family.
Gloria (Sofia Vergara), Claire (Julie Bowen), Haley (Sarah Hyland), Alex (Ariel Winter) and Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) suffered a flat tyre on their way to a women’s march and allowed a stranger to fix it for them. That backfired when the women did fix the tyre but also stole the car.
Meanwhile Luke (Nolan Gould) and Manny (Rico Rodriguez) showed their support for gender equality by attending the march but tensions rose when Luke struck up a flirtation with a girl he met.
Elsewhere Phil (Ty Burrell) and Jay (Ed O’Neill) butted heads over their parking attendant and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) became jealous of Mitch’s (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) relationship with his sister.
The next episode of the season is Alone Time. Things backfire for Mitch and Jay when they try to seek out some much-needed alone time. At a loose end, Cam drops in on Gloria.
