The X Factor 2014: week 2 elimination predictions

Find out which two acts we think will be departing the competition tonight.

Last week we were almost right with one of our predictions when Stephanie Nala found herself in the sing-off against Overload Generation during The X Factor results show.

Overload Generation departed the show along with Blonde Electra who received the fewest votes from the public.

80s night arrived on The X Factor last night for the week 2 live show and to say we were underwhelmed would be a complete understatement. Not many of the performances last night really impressed us and we hope that the standard picks up in the coming weeks.

Once again we’ve made our predictions about which two acts will leave the show in tonight’s second double elimination of the series.

Simon Cowell said that Stephanie looks and sounds bored whether she’s singing or talking. We hate to say it but we completely agree. Whilst Stephanie’s performance of Call Me was much better than last week’s Everything I Own and her terrible rendition of Brandy’s Have You Ever? we weren’t blown over by her last night. She’s one of if not the weakest vocalists in the competition and we think she’ll be the first to go on the public vote alone tonight.

This one breaks our heart a little bit as we love Jake but last night his performance wasn’t great was it? He attempted to prove that he has the vocal chops to compete with the rest of the Boys in his category but Total Eclipse of the Heart was a bad song choice. We hope we’re wrong but we think Jake could be in danger tonight.

Tune in to The X Factor results show tonight at 8pm to see if our predictions are right.
