The latest episode of Scandal saw things get a whole lot more complicated in the aftermath of Sally Langston’s (Kate Burton) cover-up about the murder of her husband Daniel (Jack Coleman).
Despite assuring everyone she would step down as Vice President, Sally decided to keep the position and run against Fitz (Tony Goldwyn). Cyrus (Jeff Perry) was left sweating when the media found out that Daniel’s body never had an autopsy and when Olivia (Kerry Washington) started sniffing around it, he went to extreme measures to keep his involvement secret.
It wasn’t only Olivia sniffing around Daniel’s death though as Cyrus’ husband James (Dan Bucatinsky) and David Rosen (Joshua Malina) tried to expose Cyrus’ involvement too.
As if that wasn’t enough it was revealed that Mellie (Bellamy Young) had enjoyed a relationship with Fitz’s new Vice President Andrew Nichols (Jon Tenney) in the past.
The next episode of the season is We Do Not Touch the First Ladies. Flashbacks shed light on a surprising event as Andrew prepares to be Fitz’s running mate.
