Scandal certainly lived up to its name in its latest episode by creating a pretty epic mess for pretty much every character.
Olivia (Kerry Washington) came face-to-face with her mother Maya (Khandi Alexander) and helped her to flee to Hong Kong. Unfortunately after she helped her mother escape she realised that the woman actually was a terrorist and her name is really Marie Wallace. Big mistake there Liv!
Elsewhere Huck (Guillermo Diaz) tortured Quinn (Katie Lowes) for betraying Olivia which pushed her right into the arms of B613 and Charlie (George Newbern). The biggest surprise was saved until the end when Cyrus’ (Jeff Perry) plan to blackmail Sally (Kate Burton) not to run against Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) backfired spectacular. After showing Sally the photos of her husband Daniel (Jack Coleman) with James (Dan Bucatinsky), Sally murdered Daniel and called Cyrus for help.
The next episode of the season is A Door Marked Exit. Cyrus helps Sally clean up one heck of a mess, and Olivia also has a tricky situation to put right.
