Back in 2005 Lital Mizel and Adi Frimmerman couldn’t have imagined that their video lip-syncing and dancing to the Pixies song, Hey as a birthday gift for Frimmerman’s boyfriend, would reach 34 million YouTube views thus catapulting them to the limelight as promising filmmakers. The duo never imagined that after meeting the Pixes backstage in Israel they would be offering their services to make the band’s next video however all this happened.

The new video for Ring The Bell is now available to view on EF.

About the song Mizel explained, “The way we see it, the song is about that moment of ending, where you look back and long for those moments in a time and place that will soon fade away.”

“We were born in the eighties and grew up during a time of rapid technology changes,” Frimmerman added.  “We got the idea to make a clip about our nostalgic longing for the things that had been replaced and the childhood memories that were attached to them.  We also felt connected to the ‘Generation-Y’ characterization of those eighties-nineties lost kids who hold on to their memories of the past in a fast-changing, anxiety-filled world.”
