The latest season will debut in the UK at the end of July.

Season 3 of Scandal will begin in the UK on Thursday 31st July at 9pm it has been confirmed.

The show was dropped by More4 earlier this year and subsequently picked up by Sky Living HD. Starring Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn, Jeff Perry, Bellamy Young, Columbus Short, Joshua Malina, Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes and Scott Foley, Scandal is one of the US’ most talked-about TV shows.

Season 3 sees Olivia Pope and Associates face their biggest scandal to date with surprising allegiances formed in order to get things handled. Customers will also be introduced to Olivia’s parents, each of them as despicable as the other; and learn the truth behind Fitz and Mellie’s dysfunctional relationship. The history of Cyrus and James’ relationship is revealed, and as Quinn’s career takes an unexpected path, her dark side is slowly uncovered. With tragedy striking more than one key character, this is the deadliest season of Scandal to date.

Fans of the show that have Sky can catch-up on the first two seasons before the arrival of the third at the end of the month using the on-demand service.
