Science fans rejoice as Stephen Hawking’s Science of the Future begins this Saturday night on National Geographic Channel.

The landmark series sees Professor Stephen Hawking and a dynamic team of scientists explore the cutting edge of science and use that knowledge to imagine how a future world will look. From sustainable energy sources and awe-inspiring robots to incredible medical advances, Hawking provides an insight into the science that will change our world.

Ahead of the launch of the show we’ve got two clips from the show to whet your appetite. In the clips Hawking looks at how 3D printing might hold the key to the organ donor shortage and he talks about improving our virtual plan of the world. You can watch both of them using our video player below.
