Rough Copy announce debut single Street Love

The X Factor contestants sign to Epic Records.

X Factor 2013 contestants Rough Copy have signed a deal with Epic Records it has been announced.

The trio is set to release debut single Street Love on 29th June which has been produced by Beatfreakz, the production team behind Usher and Jason Derulo. The song is a re-working of the 80s classic Sweet Love by Anita Baker featuring the band’s own verses.

Rough Copy said: “Being signed to Epic makes everything worthwhile; all the hard work, all the grafting and difficult times makes this a magical and memorable moment that will live with us for years to come.  We can finally take off the X-Factor training wheels and enter the big industry.

“Along with being signed to a huge major label, we are also excited and happy to announce that we will be releasing our first official single ‘Street Love’. We can’t wait to hit stages everywhere and deliver performances to be remembered!!! How Epic is that?!”

Rough Copy – Kazeem Ajobo, Sterling Ramsey and Joey James – are currently in the studio working on their debut album. Listen to Street Love below:
