Currently in the midst of a run of 25 intimate shows (playing to just 40 people per show) at New York’s world-famous Park Avenue Armory venue with his bandmates, Jamie xx today announces details of a brand new AA-sided single.
The single (released 5th May) will be Jamie’s first solo release since 2011 and is an AA-sided single featuring two songs – Girl and Sleep Sound.
Available on 12” vinyl and download the eagerly anticipated release comes over a year after debut single Far Nearer and We’re New Here, his collaborative reinterpretation of Gil Scott-Heron’s I’m New Here album. Jamie is also renowned for his remixes of the likes of Four Tet, Radiohead, Adele and The xx.
