All Points East reveals 2018 line-up details

LCD Soundsystem, The XX and Bjork all added to 2018’s line-up.

 All Points East Festival is brand new event taking place in London in 2018. The festival which will take place between 25th May and 3rd June in Tower Hamlets, London has revealed stellar headline acts including Bjork, LCD Soundsystem and The XX set to perform across that period.

The new festival will start on the May bank holiday weekend with a diverse line up of some of the coolest names in music. Following the opening weekend, a 4-day community focused midweek event will give the park back to the local area with an entertainment programme of comedy, food, outdoor cinema and more to reflect the vibrancy of its surrounding area. The event culminates in three huge APE Presents… headline shows the first will be headlined by Ohio indie rockers, The National.

 Glass Animals frontman Dave Bayley commented about the announcement: “It’s an honour to be asked to play a night with such stellar headliners! LCD Soundsystem and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are two of the best live acts in existence. In fact my favourite show of all time was LCD in 2007 at Reading Festival. It’s where I met our drummer Joe. And Karen O is one of the greatest front people of all time, and a hero of mine. We’ll have to up our game then we’re definitely gonna hang around and have a wild one. After party at my house! Can’t wait!”
