The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be released on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download on 7th April it has been announced.
The second film in The Hobbit trilogy is once again directed by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) and sees Bilbo (Martin Freeman), Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and the Company of Dwarves continue their quest through Middle-earth. The cast is star-studded and includes Benedict Bumberbatch, Luke Evans, Lee Pace, Evangeline Lily, Stephen Fry, Orlando Bloom and James Nesbitt.
