You’ve probably heard all about it by now but the phenomenon that is Sharknado is finally coming to the UK.
The Syfy original movie will be airing in the UK on Wednesday 7th August at 9pm. When it premiered Stateside, Sharnado whipped up a social media frenzy with over 600,000 tweets about it with Hollywood stars Mia Farrow and Olivia Wilde amongst those talking about it.
Sharnado focuses on beachside bar owner Fin (Ian Ziering) who teams up with ex-wife April (Tara Reid), bartneder Nova (Cassie Scerbo) and local drunk George (John Heard) to investigate the ecological nightmare that has sharks swimming through the streets of Los Angeles and falling from the skies.
The movie pulled in huge ratings in the US and has become a phenomenon with a sequel already commissioned. Will you be tuning in?
