Birds of a Feather makes a return to our screens

Iconic sitcom Birds of a Feather is to return to our screens after a fifteen year absence.

Birds of a Feather will be broadcast on ITV rather than the original BBC, and will feature the original cast and writers.

Starring Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson as sisters sharing an Essex house while their husbands are in prison, Birds of a Feather was a huge success back in the 1990’s. Lesley Joseph played their neighbour, Dorien Green.

An ITV spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that we have commissioned a new series of Birds Of A Feather ,” she said. “We’re really excited to be welcoming Sharon, Tracey and Dorien to ITV. We will confirm more details in due course.”

We can’t wait to see the new, 2013, version of Birds of a Feather!
