Four Strictly Come Dancing professionals are to leave the show it has been confirmed.
Vincent Simone, Flavia Cacace, Erin Boag and Aliona Vilani will not return when the show starts again this autumn. Instead they will be replaced by four new dancers.
Burn The Floor stars Aljaz Skorjanec and Janette Manrara and Mammia Mia! dancer Emma Slater have joined the show. Iveta Lukosiute, who danced with Johnny Ball last year following Aliona Vilani’s injury, will join the show on a permanent basis this year.
BBC Newsbeat reports that Erin Boag had been offered a return for the new series but she turned it down.
Flavia Cacace won Strictly Come Dancing last year with her celebrity partner Louis Smith. The show is expected to return in September.
