The teaser trailer for Sam Mendes’ forthcoming Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical has been released.
The show, produced by Warner Bros Theatre Ventures, Neal Street Productions and Kevin McCormick, will have its first preview at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on Friday 17th May 2013. Douglas Hodge leads the cast as Willy Wonka with Nigel Planer, Clive Carter, Jasna Ivir, Paul J Medford, Iris Roberts, Billy Boyle, Roni Page and Myra Sands also starring.
Tickets are on sale now at www.charlieandthechocolatefactory.com for all performances up to the end of the current booking period on Saturday 30th November 2013.
