It had to happen sooner or later! Comedian Harry Hill has written the book, with Steve Brown writing nineteen new songs for the show.
X-Factor – It’s Time to Face the Musical will debut in London in Spring 2014, and will be brought to you by Stage Entertainment UK and Syco Entertainment. It will be directed by Olivier Award-winner Sean Foley.
The show promises to conjure a new story as audiences follow the life of the only woman in the UK never to have heard of the show (thanks to her grandfather’s iron lung interfering with the television reception) as she stumbles into the auditions. From there, she enters the X-Factor world of catty judges, hopeless talent and hopeful wannabees that we’re all familiar with.
