Making Dickie Happy opens on March 5th at the Tristan Bates Theatre.

Set in the glamorous 1920s, when everybody smoked; and the rich, louche and decadent drank cocktails all day long, it promises to take us back to a different epoch.

But what happens when the socially conservative crime writer Agatha Christie finds herself staying in the same remote hotel as the flamboyant playwright Noël Coward and his entourage of gay friends and lovers?

Making Dickie Happy features a cast of young up-and-coming actors including Phineas Pett as Noël, Helen Duff as Agatha, James Phelips as Dickie; with David Alderman, Matthew Alexander and Rob Pomfret.

All photographs are by and copyright to Cioban Fana.

You can buy tickets for the show from the Tristan Bates Theatre box office (020 7240 6283 or visit http://www.tristanbatestheatre.co.uk/Making_Dickie_Happy.asp.)
