Skyfall leads Jameson Empire Awards nominations

James Bond’s latest outing picks up six nominations.

The nominations for the Jameson Empire Awards 2013 have been announced today with Skyfall leading the way grabbing six nominations.

Skyfall, which was recently crowned the biggest-ever UK box-office hit, picks up nominations including Best Film and Best Actor.

There are few surprises amongst the nominations except perhaps Jennifer Lawrence being nominated in the Best Actress category for The Hunger Games rather than Silver Linings Playbook which she picked up an Oscar for last weekend.

Fans can vote for their favourites by heading over to The winners will be announced at the ceremony on Sunday March 24th 2013.
