Nashville-based singer-songwriter Shane Profitt has just unleashed his latest track, ‘Whiskey With You,’ available now via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. Following the release of the heartfelt love ballad ‘Two Down’ in February, ‘Whiskey With You’ injects a dose of fiery energy into Profitt’s already diverse discography, showcasing his exceptional talent for storytelling.

Penned by Profitt alongside Blake Bollinger, Chris Janson, and Nate Kenyon, ‘Whiskey With You’ delves into the experience of using alcohol as a coping mechanism to move on from a past relationship. The song cleverly juxtaposes the comfort of familiar habits with the pain of knowing they’re not healthy, as Profitt sings, “I can mix whiskey with water / Mix whiskey with Coke® / Mix whiskey with folks that I know and I don’t / It don’t mix, and I can’t fix / So I don’t mix this whiskey with you.”
‘Whiskey With You’ joins Profitt’s lineup of recent standalone releases, including ‘Good Luck And God,’ ‘I Am Who I Am’ and ‘Two Down.’ Currently on tour with Aaron Lewis, Profitt is gearing up for a series of performances at country music festivals this summer, including Country Festival 2024, Festival of the Bells 2024, and Riverfront Festival 2024.
