This modern take on the classic series, which starred Tom Selleck in the 1980s, has Jay Hernandez playing Thomas Magnum, a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. With 96 episodes, the series didn’t last quite as long as the original Tom Selleck show which ran for eight seasons but gave it a good run for its money.
