This modern take on the classic series, which starred Tom Selleck in the 1980s, has Jay Hernandez playing Thomas Magnum, a decorated former Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator.
British actress Perdita Weeks got the opportunity to direct an episode in this final season, following in the footsteps of co-stars Jay Hernandez and Zachary Knighton. The episode, entitled “Extracurricular Activities,” involves an epic car/motorcycle race through the streets of Honolulu.
