Hit songwriters Ashley Gorley and Jesse Frasure revealed as DJ duo ADHD at Stagecoach

The final night of Stagecoach Festival didn’t just close out three consecutive weekends of music in Indio, it introduced a new chapter for two of Nashville’s most successful hitmakers. What began as a mysterious DJ set under the name ADHD at Diplo’s Honkytonk Stage has now been revealed as the work of Ashley Gorley and Jesse Frasure, two of the most influential songwriters in modern country music.

Playing to a packed, standing-room-only crowd, the duo delivered a high-energy, hour-long set that blurred the lines between country and EDM: opening with their own remix of ‘Thinkin’ Bout Me' and weaving through a catalogue of hits they’ve helped write over the years. The result was a performance that felt both familiar and entirely new, built on songs fans already knew but reimagined through a club-ready lens.

For Gorley and Frasure, the ADHD project is more than just a side venture—it’s a return to where their love of music first began. Frasure described the experience as one of the most enjoyable moments of his career, highlighting the thrill of debuting a DJ set made up largely of their own songwriting catalogue to a crowd that fully embraced the concept. The duo’s ability to remix their own hits in real time created a unique connection with the audience, who responded with an overflowing tent and nonstop energy.

Gorley echoed that sentiment, calling the project a full circle moment rooted in their early days as DJs. For him, ADHD represents a creative outlet beyond the writing room: an opportunity to reinterpret their work, challenge themselves, and bring a fresh perspective to songs that have already had massive success.

The origins of ADHD date back to 2018, when the pair began DJing together while on the road during Thomas Rhett’s Life Changes Tour. What started as pre-show sets quickly evolved into performances at private events and opening slots for major artists including Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj, before eventually becoming a fully realised project now represented by The Neal Agency.

Individually, Gorley and Frasure have long been at the forefront of Nashville’s songwriting elite, earning multiple nominations from the Recording Academy and taking home ACM, CMA, ASCAP and BMI awards. Gorley’s recent induction into the National Songwriters Hall of Fame further cements his legacy.

But with ADHD, the duo are stepping out from behind the scenes and into a new spotlight, one where they’re not just writing the hits, but reshaping how they’re experienced live. Judging by the reaction at Stagecoach, this is only the beginning.
