ACM Award-winning duo Tigirlily Gold have released their latest single, ‘Thinkin’ Bout That,' now available on all streaming platforms.
The heartfelt track draws inspiration from a personal moment in Krista Slaubaugh’s relationship with her fiancé, Walker Montgomery. Reflecting on the early days of their romance, Krista recalled a conversation that sparked the idea for the song. “He pointed out a house and asked me what I thought about it. I said, ‘I don’t know, I’ve never had to think about that.’ He turned to me and said, ‘Well, you should start thinkin’ bout that.’ With that simple phrase, he gave a sense of reality to every single future dream of mine.”
Krista and her sister Kendra co-wrote the track with Jess Grommet and Willie Morrison. Produced by Pete Good, ‘Thinkin’ Bout That' captures the magic of a budding relationship and the realization that lifelong dreams may be closer than ever.
“The song encapsulates that new, exciting part of a relationship where everything you’ve wanted in life is no longer at arm’s length—it happens to be sitting right next to you in the driver’s seat,” the duo shared.
Tigirlily Gold recently took the stage at Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest, performing their new track ‘Forever From Here' along with their Top 40 hit ‘Shoot Tequila' for fans on the VIP stage.
