Rising country artist Jenna Paulette has released a heartfelt new track titled ‘How To Make A Cowboy Cry,' marking her first release since the launch of her sophomore album ‘Horseback' on September 6, 2024. The song is now available on all streaming platforms.
Written by Paulette alongside Parker Welling and Casey Brown, and produced by Will Bundy, the emotional ballad reflects the softer, more personal side of the modern cowgirl. Inspired by her journey into marriage and motherhood, Paulette shares that real cowboy tears don’t come from physical pain, but from life’s most profound and beautiful moments.
“I wrote ‘How To Make A Cowboy Cry’ right after Ross and I eloped,” Paulette explains. “Truthfully, it was before we thought about having kids, and in a conversation where we were dreaming about it, he named our little girl with two family names—and from that moment on I prayed for one. We have lived these moments in this song… from our wedding day, to two pink lines, to a moment in the truck headed in Colorado to work calves listening to Chris Ledoux.”
In support of her latest music, Paulette is hitting the road on her Horseback Acoustic Tour, which kicked off with a sold-out show in Castroville, Texas. Following the early sellout of her April 17 show in Bluff Dale, Texas, three new dates have been added to the tour: Clinton, Wisconsin on June 18; Chicago, Illinois on June 19; and Jacksonville, Illinois on June 20.
