Leo33 recording artist Jenna Paulette has dropped her latest single, ‘Run The Damn Ball,' setting the tone for her much-anticipated sophomore album ‘Horseback' which will be available on September 6. The song, a gritty anthem rooted in Paulette's North Texas ranching lifestyle, is available now on all digital platforms.
‘Run The Damn Ball' reflects Paulette's belief in the importance of simple, steadfast values like faith, family, and hard work. “This song is about doing the simple things every day… not worrying about making it fancy or getting credit. Keep your head down, do what’s necessary, and let it all add up to a big win in life,” Paulette explains. “Go tell someone to pass the aux cable and the green beans—crank this song and run the damn ball.”
The track, penned by Rodney Clawson, Casey Beathard, and Hunter Phelps, echoes themes of grit, determination, and tradition, mirroring Paulette’s rural upbringing. It offers a glimpse into Paulette's forthcoming album ‘Horseback,' a project that promises to explore the many facets of her life, from heartbreak to newfound love. Paulette describes the album as a culmination of the moments and people that have shaped her, highlighting her rural roots and cowboy spirit.
