Jools Holland has become a Patron of the Music for All charity.
The announcement coincides with the promotional campaign to highlight the UK’s second National Learn to Play Day due to be held on Saturday 16th March. Over 100 locations are expected to particpate by offering free lessons throughout the day.
The first National Learn to Play Day took play last year and provided over 10,000 music lessions.
Jools Holland commented, “I am delighted to help Music for All in their quest to inspire more people to participate in music making, either for the first time or to return to playing after having lapsed. I hope that my involvement will help the charity reach more people and get more people “having a go”.
Music for All is the charity of the UK musical instrument industry and was conceived with one aim in mind: Make More Musicians.
