Tom Odell will play a special tour of the nation’s forests in 2015 it has been announced.
The singer-songwriter is the first artist to announce multiple dates as part of the Forestry Commissionās Forest Live. He will perform in seven spectacular woodland venues across England.
The tour will be in support of Tom’s critically-acclaimed album Long Way Down which was released in June 2013. Tom is currently in the studio recording material for his as-yet-untitled new album.
Commenting on his forest gigs, Tom Odell said, āThis will be a whole new experience for me. I canāt wait to bring my live show to the woods and I hope to see you there.ā
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission to bring forests to new audiences. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting, improving and expanding Englandās forests and woodlands and increasing their value to people and wildlife. Over Forest Liveās 14 year history, money raised has contributed to a wide range of projects, from wildlife conservation to making improvements for visitors.
