In news which will come as no surprise to anyone, Louis Walsh has announced he will return to The X Factor panel.
Following the 2013 series of the show the long-time judge said that he would be departing the show along with fellow judges Gary Barlow, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger. At the time we didn’t believe him and since the announcement that Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole were returning to the show, it was a bit of a no brainer really wasn’t it?
The news was confirmed during an interview on the Colm Hayes show on Ireland’s 2FM.
There is still one judge to be announced for the new series with rumours suggesting that Spice Girl Melanie B will be filling the fourth seat. She previously appeared on the show as a guest judge and has judged on America’s Got Talent, The X Factor Australia and Australia’s Got Talent.
