Suranne Jones, Anna Friel, Russell Tovery and Freema Agyeman are amongst the familiar faces coming to Sky Living HD for its upcoming season of drama pilots.
The channel will be airing 5 60 minute drama pilots written by some of Britain’s best-known and critically-acclaimed screenwriters. Called Drama Matters, the season is a celebration of diverse, bold and compelling characters.

The shows are:
Lawless – Suranne Jones stars as a brand new judge battling to keep her head above water in the murky depths of the justice system.
The Psychopath Next Door – Anna Friel stars in a funny but tense tale of what happens when real evil moves in next door.
The Last Witch – Katherine Kelly and Anne Reid star in the supernatural tale following two feuding sisters who have spent centuries apart.
Talking to the Dead – Sophie Rundle takes the lead in an adaptation of Harry Bingham’s novel about a rookie cop with a brilliant mind.
Rubenesque – Freema Agyeman stars in a cheeky talk of a female football referee whose life takes an interesting turn when she finds herself working as a plus-size model.
The new season is set to air this autumn.
