Rising country trio Just Jayne is back with their emotionally raw new single ‘Breathe,' now available on all streaming platforms. The song dives deep into the moments when a past relationship refuses to stay in the past, even when you're doing everything you can to move forward.
Written by Just Jayne’s Taylor Edwards, Rachel Wiggins, and Jillian Steele alongside Ben Johnson, Kylie Morgan, Rivers Rutherford, and Aaron Zuckerman, ‘Breathe' reflects the quiet ache of memories that resurface in unexpected ways. With a poignant chorus and haunting lyrics, the track captures the space between healing and heartbreak.
“This is a song about how we never think about our exes… except for when we breathe,” the group shared. “'Breathe' came from that moment between healing and hurting – where the memories sneak in, even when you're doing your best to move on. We poured a lot of heart into this one, and we're so excited for it to be yours.”
‘Breathe' is the fifth release from Just Jayne this year, following their debut single ‘This Morning,' heartfelt ballad ‘New Boots,' romantic anthem ‘All Backroads' and nostalgic track ‘The Way We Were.' Each release continues to build their momentum as one of country music’s most promising new acts.
The trio made headlines during CMA Fest after inclement weather canceled their scheduled performance—prompting them to take to the street and perform for fans anyway. Their growing reputation in Nashville has also been shaped by performances at Whiskey Jam, Nashville Briefing’s Artists to Watch showcase, Hoofbeat Festival and a nationwide run with Maddie & Tae on the Love & Light Tour.
Next, Just Jayne will join Billy Currington and Tyler Hubbard for select dates this month, continuing their journey as one of the genre’s most relatable and exciting voices.
