Maddox Batson releases emotional new single ‘No More’ ahead of Fall tour

Following a breakout year that included his Grand Ole Opry debut, a spotlight performance at Stagecoach, and national attention from NBC Nightly News, rising country artist Maddox Batson has dropped his newest single, ‘No More.' The track is available now via Prosper Entertainment / Warner Records, along with an official music video.

Written by Batson alongside Johnny Simpson and Josh Dorr, and produced by Simpson at BullRun Studios in Nashville, ‘No More' showcases the 15-year-old’s growing emotional depth and vocal maturity. Leaning into themes of heartbreak and self-worth, the song reflects a turning point—one of strength, clarity, and letting go.

“This song’s about finally walking away,” says Batson, who grew up in Alabama and was born in Nashville. “It’s about knowing your worth and learning when enough is enough. I think a lot of people, even my age, have felt that moment of courage where you decide, ‘you’re not breaking my heart again.’”

With a hook-driven chorus and an honest, reflective tone, ‘No More' marks another milestone in Batson’s evolution as both a singer and songwriter. Lyrics like “First you act like you need it / Then you leave me in pieces on the floor” speak directly to anyone who’s ever had to move on from something—or someone—they once held close.

Batson will continue his momentum on the road this fall with his headlining I Need A Truck Tour, kicking off September 7 in Richmond, Virginia. The 29-city run includes stops across the country, and he’ll also join Lainey Wilson’s Whirlwind Tour for select dates, including a major show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on October 2.

Described by NBC Nightly News as “a young star… striking a chord and hitting all the right notes” and praised by Forbes for blending country and pop with heartfelt delivery, Batson is rapidly earning fans of all ages with his high-energy shows and authentic storytelling.

‘No More' is available now on all streaming platforms.
